IBM has held its annual security event, Security Summit in Argentina on September 12 at El Planetario in Buenos Aires. Together with more than 200 clients and business partners, possible scenarios that could result from a cyberattack were presented in order to raise awareness of the importance of organizational and individual preparedness in data protection.
Security Advisor, as a regional partner of IBM Security and with particular focus and experience in QRadar SIEM, presented a visualization lab of the platform informing how to maintain it and make the most of it by the hand of cybersecurity specialists: Nicolás Brambilla and Ramiro Musil. Also present were our partner Director, Ángel Bertolotti and Pablo Balzi, Commercial Manager of Security Advisor Argentina.
QRadar SIEM: how to really take advantage of this tool?
QRadar provides complete infrastructure visibility, collecting data from endpoints, network devices, cloud environments, applications, and other data sources. It applies advanced analytics to prioritize threats. Using artificial intelligence AI to augment staff skills, providing users with the option to automatically investigate threats to report incidents faster. It also has the ability to perform deep searches allowing users to track threats. As part of the event, a number of best practices were shared with guests to get their SIEM up and running and really take advantage of the various functionalities it offers.
