Sembrando TIC is a program created together with 5 strategic partners: Cámara Uruguaya de Tecnologías de la Información (CUTI), Globant, Mercado Libre, Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) and ManpowerGroup.
In order to make more people aware of the programming training and after observing a great demand and inquiries about the scholarships, it was decided to expand the age range of applicants. For these reasons, from Monday, March 22nd to Friday, March 26th, the registration link to apply for the scholarship will be available.
Requirements to apply for the scholarship:
- Completed High School or UTU (up to 3 previous)
- Basic computer skills and English will be an asset
- Not to be currently attending any technical (UTU/similar), university or programming training.
- Have a personal computer and an Internet connection
Profile of Graduation
The Junior Programmer will be able to:
- Generate technological solutions for micro-enterprises.
- Develop online technologies for products and services
- Implement in programming language basic functionalities required by a micro-enterprise.
- Extract and analyse data for business planning purposes.
- Create and manage tools for results dissemination and product marketing.
- Analyze basic cost and investment estimates

- The course will begin on April 12.
- The course ends on December 6th.
