Álvaro Lamé, president of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (CUTI) and member of the mission visiting China with Tabaré Vázquez, reported that with the firm Huawei progress was made in future agreements related to education and the installation of digital cities.
Lamé said, according to the Presidency's website, that "this whole visit has been very positive. We are very pleased with the results.
"It has exceeded the expectations we had when we decided to accompany the official delegation to China," he added.

E informó sobre algunas de las audiencias que mantuvieron durante el viaje. “Nos reunimos junto a la ministra de Industria, energía y Minería, Carolina Cosse, con empresas de tecnología, puntualmente con ZTE y con Huawei”, dijo, y valoró los encuentros como «muy buenos».
