Cuti & UKTI organise mission to London

21/03/16

After an analysis carried out by the Internationalisation Committee, it was decided to travel to the United Kingdom from 18 to 26 June and attend London Technology Week.
Reading time: 3 minutes

This Mission, co-organised by Cuti and the government agency United Kingdom Trade & Investment(UKTI), also counts with the participation of other Latin American countries.

It will take place within the framework of London Technology Week, which brings together a large number of technology and innovation events taking place in the UK capital. During this week London will be transformed into the technological epicentre of Europe, connecting the international community.

The trip aims to strengthen the skills of the Uruguayan ICT industry through the experiences and good practices implemented by one of the leading countries in technological innovation and entrepreneurship.

In this regard, the Mission plans to participate in the various events and conferences of London Technology Week, networking events, events to promote the Uruguay country brand, business meetings, visits to technology companies, technology-based business incubators, universities, and government agencies for promotion and development.

PREPARATORY STAGE

In May, we will hold a preparatory activity where participation in the various London Technology Week events and conferences, visits and meetings will be reported in more detail.

The importance of the English market as a gateway to the rest of Europe and the value for Uruguayan ICT companies to be part of this experience will be highlighted. We will count with the participation and support of the UK Embassy in Uruguay and UKTI representatives for Latin America.

More details of the activity will follow shortly.

ESTIMATED INVESTMENT OF THE PARTICIPATION

The Mission's estimated investment is USD 3,500* on a simple basis, including:
