As part of its institutional strategy, the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (Cuti) has begun to organize different working groups aimed at connecting the ICT industry with various verticals of importance for the productive and competitive development of the country, highlighting its notorious export potential. To this end, it was decided to set up an Agritech working group aimed at improving the supply of technological developments at the service of the agricultural industry.

This work process had its first meeting in December 2018 bringing together several partner companies that already had experience in the area, but that in turn understood that through a collaborative approach it was possible to enhance and focus an improved offer that enriches the agricultural counterpart.
Through the successive meetings of entrepreneurs, the vision was defined as being the hub of reference whose mission is to serve as an articulator between the demand of the agricultural and livestock referents and the technological offer available.
