Due to the high number of people interested in applying for a scholarship for the b_IT Program, Cuti and INEFOP decided to extend the deadline for the 2019 Generation until May 30. This will be the last opportunity to apply for one of the 1000 scholarships for the new Generation 2019.
Those interested in applying must complete the following form and, once qualified, take the initial virtual course.
The deadline for applications is May 30, 2019 at 5pm.
About b_IT
b_IT is a 2-year 100% online training program in Information Technology aimed at people over 18 years of age with a 4th year of high school or equivalent passed throughout the country.
The program aims to integrate more women into the IT industry, people who are unemployed or who want to retrain, people with disabilities, and other groups with difficulties in accessing employment; therefore, these sectors will be given greater consideration when awarding scholarships.
From the group of applicants resulting from the introductory course, the following weightings will be made to reach the group of 1000 scholarship holders of the 2019 Generation.
- 50% female and 50% male
- 50% Montevideo and 50% inland
- 8% of Afro-descendants
- 10% of people with disabilities
