Together with 500 Startups, LATU, ANII, ANDE and Uruguay XXI will develop a pre-acceleration program for companies, which will take place from October 17th to November 27th at the LATU Technology Park.
This program aims to boost the companies of our country with expansion potential, bringing them closer in knowledge and contacts to access investment capital that will allow them to scale their business.
500Montevideo arises from the collaboration of these organizations, understanding that the local entrepreneurial ecosystem required one more link in the chain: the first pre-acceleration program in our country.

The Accelerator 500 Montevideo Program will prepare twenty Uruguayan startups through six weeks of mentoring, growth workshops and connections with investors and corporate partners.
The objective of this program is to deepen the relationships and opportunities between 500 Startups and companies based in Uruguay and the region, creating another source of capital and resources for entrepreneurs through a pre-acceleration program.
The program will bring the Silicon Valley experience to selected Uruguayan companies. It will provide participating companies the opportunity to connect with Uruguayan entrepreneurs and players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, in addition to giving Uruguayan startups a network of relationships in Latin American and international markets to scale their companies regionally and globally.
There will be mentoring sessions led by partners of 500 Startups and Venture Partners, talks with local and international speakers, pitch training, connection with regional and international investment networks and a big demo day of the participating startups in front of investors to close the event.
