There are 2,000 places available for young people between 17 and 26 years old, who have completed the basic cycle and want to learn to program. Those interested can register on the website.

"There are different programming languages that we have, which are required by the industry. This year we gave courses in Python, web programming, .Net and Genexus. Those who give the courses are people who work in companies so they are programmers who have experience and we have the agreement so that later they can be easily inserted into the labor market", explained the manager of the Ceibal Plan, Fiorella Haim.

The Ceibal Plan project is open to young people from all over the country. For those who live in the interior of the country, distance learning classes are offered.

"The software industry needs a lot of jobs. The industry itself is asking for it. To be able to take on new and bigger projects. Of course it has to do with the development of the country, to offer these services. On the other hand, young people have unemployment problems and this is a tool that quickly achieves a job placement in an industry that is growing," added Haim.
