The 2019 edition of "Jornadas Tecnológicas" organized by Agesic to share and disseminate topics and good practices on the application of ICT in the Uruguayan State begins.
The "cloud" -also called cloud computing- is a virtual model for providing business and technology services over the Internet. Its users can access a catalog of standardized services and respond with them to the needs of your business in a flexible way.
In a traditional infrastructure acquisition scheme, agencies had to plan purchases, size what they were going to need to develop a project or business, and assume the resulting growth. Today, on the other hand, each agency that is a "cloud" user knows exactly how much it consumes and has the ability to make projections of its future needs.
The activity "The Cloud in the State, the State in the Cloud", of the cycle Technological Conferences, will aim to present national and international experiences with the Government Cloud: presentation of use cases, benefits, knowledge of the tools used and advances and evolution of this technology.
The instance is aimed at teams of public agencies of the State with technical profiles and linked to IT areas.
