On the 27th, the technological conferences for agriculture will begin

The first Uruguayan Conference on New Technologies for Agriculture will be held from September 27 to 29 under the call Hay Campo para las TICs (There is a Field for ICTs). Qualified speakers will participate.

 

The first Uruguayan Conference on New Technologies for Agriculture There is a Field for ICTs will present successful cases of the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the agricultural sector and its entire value chain.

 

The event will be held from September 27th to 29th, where the use of techniques based on Big Data, Internet of Things, RFID and other innovative technologies will be discussed.

 

The aim is to analyze their impact on efficiency, productivity and the generation of value and new opportunities in agriculture.

 

The conference will be held in conjunction with the international conference BigDSSAgro 2017 and features prominent guests from the region.

 

The event is free of charge and is organized by the ICT4V Technological Center of ANII and the Faculty of Engineering of the University of the Republic.

 

It will be held at the Amphitheater of the José Luis Massera Multipurpose Building, annex of the School of Engineering (Av. Julio Herrera y Raissig 565, Montevideo).
