This Thursday, April 25th in our city, Abstracta, ReconverTIte, RoboProk Salto, Soluciones and BF Sistemas opened their doors to all those girls, teenagers and young people who are at the age of choosing their profession so that they can learn first-hand about the possibilities offered by the sector and expand their experiences and ambitions. Norte Tecnológico will be visiting educational centers for the same purpose. The idea is to generate a space for exchange, adaptable to the reality of each work environment.
Valentina Tortarolo CCO of Abstracta tells us how this day is lived in the company. This is the third year that Abstracta Salto joins Techy for the day. We want more women to have the opportunity to know what we do. We open our doors to share with them the reality of our work.
This year was very special because we shared the activity with the ReconverTIte team. Women in testing. ReconverTIte is an idea that was born in Abstracta and is aimed at empowering women and reconverting them to the technology industry, so they can work without having to move from Salto. Those who attended were also able to meet the 10 women who have been selected to be part of the program and are the first generation of TIters. They were able to hear stories of women who were encouraged and began to take their first steps in the world of technology. Women who discovered that this is not for the chosen few, that it is not something impossible because it is difficult and that it is something that is within our reach".
