The partnership between the Al Norte laboratory and Make Software offers technological solutions for more efficient management.

The Al Norte laboratory, dedicated mainly to soil, blood, food and foliar analysis, among others (see separate note), now also offers customised software that adapts to the needs of each company, through an alliance with the company Make Software. "Through an alliance with Make Software, we have developed applications to offer them to the market. We can say that Make Software's Agro division, which develops technological solutions for the sector, is managed in alliance with Al Norte," Fernando Fossati, director of Al Norte, told El Observador Agropecuario.

The proposal consists of offering customised software, technological applications for mobile devices, so that they can be used in the field. The product is called Avisarlo. It is about tools to improve processes, the logistics part of the companies that provide services to the agricultural sector, as well as the sales and marketing part, for example; software that recognises the needs of customers.

"Our aim is to offer what the customer needs and not something else. We have put this into practice ourselves. For two years now, the laboratory has had software that performs all field sampling services. We go in, take the samples, and then the farmer can see the GPS points where they were taken, with the corresponding report next to it. This can be accessed from the intranet, with a username and password that is automatically sent to him when the sample is taken in the laboratory. There he can also see the entire history of the field samples," Fossati explained.

The businessman said that the whole process of improvement through management software has completely changed the company. "Today, with fewer human resources and more technology, we do more analysis than before," he said.

The core of the service is to understand the needs of businesses and offer them solutions, whether they sell inputs, services or need to manage several establishments. It is a tool that the user can have on their mobile phone and use it even without an internet signal, as it is then updated when connected to the network.

CRM software is currently widely used, because it remembers, for example, the dates on which a person or a company buys a product or service. It is a tool that makes it possible to anticipate that demand, and that is resource management, sales or marketing processes.

"Those CRM software are already packaged and are then very difficult to adjust to all companies. But we created an application for Al Norte, which allows salespeople to call from their homes, through the software; there are currently seven in different departments. This software allowed us to grow in a less physical way, because each salesman manages his own contacts and clients, and the sum of this work allows us to work with more than 3,000 producers today," Fossati said.

This is what this alliance offers the market, a CRM tailored to the company, as well as other possibilities of software adjustments, which can be adapted to different needs.
