Ten women from Salto were selected to participate in ReconverTIte: Women in testing, a program that seeks to empower women living in the interior of Uruguay through training in software testing and job retraining in the technology industry.
The proposal was born as a spin off of Abstracta, a company specialized in software quality, and with the support of ANII became a reality in early 2019.
Today these women are functional testers, who have knowledge in agile methodologies and tools to continue training in the area. They were also trained in transversal competencies such as proactivity, teamwork, and time management; essential skills to achieve efficient results.
We believe in the importance of software quality and want to help deliver impactful products, while working to reduce the gender gap in technology and bring job opportunities to the hinterland.
For these reasons we offer software testing services that provide a critical view to the development of the project, looking not only for errors but also for opportunities for improvement. At the same time, our testers have a support network of experts in the discipline that are part of Abstracta.

- You can hire hours of testing to ReconverTIte that will be executed by the team of testers.
- You can hire a tester directly by adding her to your team.
We support and follow up the participants during the first three months of the work experience through mentoring sessions with experts in testing. This allows our testers to successfully join the project, evacuating technical and/or methodological doubts with the backing of our support.

- We report errors, bugs, and incidents in a clear and concise manner.
- We make presentations to the development team on test results.
- We cover different devices and browsers.
