The president of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology gives a snapshot of the state of a sector in frank ascent.

 

 

Turnover in the information technology sector increased 26% in 2017 over the previous year. It reached US$ 1,489 million, the highest figure since records have been kept.

 

This data appears in the latest edition of the annual survey of the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technology (Cuti), which reports on the evolution of companies in this industry, the markets where it sells and the profile of its workers, among other data.
