UTEC has started with the registration for tertiary careers throughout the territory; in the central-south branch there are three options

From Wednesday 1 November until Friday 29 December, those interested in enrolling in a degree programme that will begin in March 2018 at the Universidad Tecnológica (UTEC) can register online.

There will be 11 degree courses in 6 departments available to students, who will be able to access the educational options through different modalities, as they are not only taught in person, but also blended learning, through digital platforms and technological media.

PROCESS

The registration process is carried out through the UTEC website, where you must enter on the stipulated dates and complete a form with the required documentation: identity card, higher secondary education pass, form 60 A from CES or proof of graduation from CETP-UTU and health card or proof of the procedure. The deadline for those who want to join the institution is 29 December and the page where you must register is www.utec.edu.uy, under Pre-enrolment.

LOCAL OFFER

There is a variety of courses at the institution, which has one of its branches in our city and the others in other departments, with a limited number of places in the city of Durazno, one of which is the degree in Information Technology, which has 100 places in Durazno and 50 in the Fray Bentos branch.In addition, the courses in Renewable Energy Engineering, which has 50 places available in our city, and Engineering in Irrigation, Drainage and Effluent Management Systems, which will also have 50 places, will begin.

Other degree courses offered at the remaining UTEC branches are the following: Degree in Food Analysis with 50 places in Paysandú, Degree in Dairy Science and Technology with 50 places in La Paz (Colonia), Technologist in Dairy Production Systems Management with 20 places in Nueva Helvecia, Engineering in Mechatronics with 50 places in Fray Bentos, Technologist in Jazz and Creative Music with 20 places in Mercedes, Engineering in Logistics with 50 places in Rivera and Fray Bentos, Technologist in Jazz and Creative Music with 20 places in Mercedes, Engineering in Logistics with 50 places in Rivera and Fray Bentos, Technologist in Biomedical Engineering with 50 places in Fray Bentos and Technologist in Industrial Mechatronics with 50 places in Rivera. The latter is at an advanced stage of construction.
