Each year, Endeavor selects an extraordinary group of entrepreneurs who have the potential to transform industries, communities and countries. Through a rigorous, multi-step, 6-24 month selection process, candidates go through a series of local and regional interviews before presenting their venture to panelists from the global business network at the International Selection Panel.
In June, Endeavor selected a new Endeavor Entrepreneur: Sebastián Stranieri, CEO of VU, a fintech focused on fraud prevention and identity protection. Its solutions are used by more than 60 corporate clients including: financial institutions, government agencies and retail stores, among others. It has clients in 14 countries and offices in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru. The entrepreneur presented himself and 30 other entrepreneurs to Endeavor's global business network at the 80th International Selection Panel, which took place in the last days of June in Milan, Italy.
The panelists who made the selection included top business leaders and investors from the region and around the world, including Oskar Miel (Rakuten Capital), Luis Lora (Allen & Company), Diego Piacentini (Italian government) and Fabio Cannavale (lastminute.com), among others. They were in charge of interviewing the candidates about their businesses, evaluated their potential for high-impact growth, deliberated on each candidate and decided who would become an Entrepreneur Endeavor.
This instance was the culmination of a rigorous multi-step selection process to identify innovative and motivated entrepreneurs who are committed to advancing an entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Once selected, Endeavor Entrepreneurs receive specialized services from a network of more than a thousand local and regional business leaders who are mentors, advisors, investors and role models. Through these services, entrepreneurs can accelerate and scale their businesses, receiving a strong component of strategic advice.
