Last Thursday, November 5th, Cisneros Interactive (Facebook authorized sales partner in Uruguay) provided a new training session for clients of the Fenicio platform.
During the workshop, which took place in a webinar format, results of a recent Facebook study conducted in more than 30 markets around the world, focusing on user behaviour in pandemics, were presented.
Some of the insights shared were:
- Generation X and baby boomers drive the rise of e-commerce and mobile shopping around the world
- Imposed changes encourage receptiveness to new products and services
- Self-gifts and seasonal shopping can be positive sales channels in difficult times.
Recommendations were also provided by the social network in view of the sales season in the last part of the year:
- It is time to strengthen the closeness and empathy of companies in relation to their customers.
- Encourage self-gifting and not only communicate shopping options for gifts to others.
- Helping people find products they "love".
