Paraguay has a population of over 6.725 million and a growing economy, with an annual GDP growth of 4.10%, currently at 29.730 million.
As a result of growth and other factors, the need for greater fiscal control arose. Based on this, the government, which had been studying models of electronic tax issuance in other countries, defined the model to be implemented in Paraguay and at the beginning of 2018 disclosed the phases of the project called SIFEN.
In order to understand the particularities of each segment, companies were initially selected to participate in the pilot project.
Among the selected companies is Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (NSA), considered the largest company in the cargo and passenger transport sector in the country. In partnership with NSA, Migrate is present in the project of issuing electronic documents in Paraguay, contributing to the development of the model and facilitating the integration of the company to comply with the new obligations.
