TOM was launched in the framework of the International Festival of Social Innovation (Fiis)

Last October 9th, the launch of TOM took place in the framework of the International Festival of Social Innovation (Fiis), at the Cultural Center of the Industrial Technology Park of El Cerro.

Born in Israel, the global non-profit organization TOM, arrives in Uruguay to carry out for the first time its makeathon with the help of Fiis.

Using modern design and digital fabrication, TOM aims to bring developers, inventors, makers, designers and engineers closer to people living with various disabilities, and find solutions to the challenges they face in order for them to live fully integrated lives in the community.

TOM will be held as part of the second edition of fiiS, from November 10th to 12th. The festival this year will run until November 18.
