Last places: Book your stand for China-LAC Summit 2017

6/09/17

Next week closes the call for registration for companies and organizations interested in participating with a stand in China-LAC 2017, the most important business summit between China, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Reading time: 2 minutes

The exhibition pavilion has a quota of 80 stands free of charge, which will be granted with prior registration and approval, in the 3,000 m2 available. These basic stands are 8m² and additional space, decoration elements, infrastructure and services, among others, can be requested and will be quoted according to needs. Companies, organizations and institutions from China, Latin America and the Caribbean will be present at the fair.

The 11th China-LAC Business Summit will be held from November 30 to December 2 at the Punta del Este Convention Center. It is organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and, this year, by the Institute for the Promotion of Investment, Exports and Country Image, Uruguay XXI, as host. Since its creation in 2007, China-LAC is the most important business event between the two regions, so over the three days, more than 800 companies, promotion agencies, business chambers and official authorities from China, Latin America and the Caribbean are expected to attend to strengthen ties and generate mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.

China-LAC is a privileged instance to generate strategic links, with top-level specialized exhibitors and one-on-one meetings with the main Chinese business leaders. It is an event that unites both regions in search of greater economic cooperation, focused on boosting trade and investment. The summit program will include plenary sessions on China-Latin America trade relations and infrastructure challenges in the new global economy. There will also be parallel sessions on the key themes of China-LAC 2017: agribusiness and food security; global services; opportunities for cooperation in infrastructure, transport and energy; e-commerce and sustainable cities. They will address the main challenges of each sector, how to enhance the relationship in each area and where the main opportunities are.
